We have changed the name of our Gravity Forms spam block plugin from Gravity Forms Blacklist to BSK Forms Blacklist. We have supported Formidable Forms and will support WPForms and Ninja Forms in the future.
The plugin still detects spam-like content within submitted form elements. It validates form elements' content with the keywords you defined and this is the most powerful spam prevention technique. Most spam bots or real human are attempting to post spam messages to you or others. Detecting commonly used spam content will stop nearly all spam bots and real human dead in their submitting.
It is specially can stop a real human to submit spam messages. As you know the Google reCAPTCHA can nearly block all spam bots but it cannot stop a real human to submit the form on your website.
It is not a blacklist but also can be whitelist, email list IP list. White list can help you to allow only invited users to submit form. Email list and IP list can be use as block or white. IP list also supports country checking so you may only allow form submissions in special countries or block all submissions in special countries.
The old users do not need to do any settings but need to know the following changes.
1. The menu item is under Gravity Forms for the old version but now it has moved to an independent menu item as the following.
2. The plugin name in WordPress' plugins manager page has been changed to BSK Forms Blacklist.
