Simple and Effective way to upload and display PDF documents by category

I wanted a replacement for wp-filebase. I just needed something to upload PDF documents, assign a category, and then display some or all of the documents in a category on my pages in either alphabetical or date order and this plugin fits the bill perfectly. Looked at various other solutions but found them to be much too complex for my requirements

BSK PDF Manager was the best solution I found to presenting PDF files in lists, as drop-down selections, and to present the most recent materials on the home page. I have several clients who need a way to organize large lists of PDF documents – such as meeting materials and agendas – and this plugin has been a great help.

I’m interested in posting internal job postings that must be posted and expire based on the regulations of our union. We’ve been doing without these online up until now, so it’s not urgent. I am interested in moving in this direction in the next few months.

Ideally, I’d be able to upload a PDF and set a publish date AND expiry date. That would be amazing.

Thanks for your quick response. Your plugin has been very good for us as many team members login and upload PDFs based on categories which are then auto-pulled into the correct places on our website. It’s been very effective in managing our documents.

We needed a solution to manage a basic list of about 20 PDFs on a page that update monthly. Uploading and hand-linking each file through the WP media manager worked but was slow. With the BannerSky plugin we can put up a month at a time in just a few minutes and never have to touch the page itself; it just pulls categories in through a shortcode. It also keeps the PDFs all in the same place, instead of having to look for them scattered throughout the WP Media Library. We don’t even do much with it, but this simple plugin has still has saved us a lot of time.

Recently purchased the BSK PDF Manger Pro version for a new site and I am so glad we did.

We had over 800 pdf’s on an old site which needed to be transferred to the new site. I contacted Support and over several days was able to successfully transfer every one of them with ease. Support walked me through many stages and helped with the database transfer. Support answered all my emails quickly and with answers I could follow easily.

The plugin also works well with a multi site situation website and a membership private site.
