Forminator already includes hidden integration with Akismet and can do spam protection. The Google RECAPTCHA field also helps prevent bots from submitting spam. But some submissions made by a real human can still beat your system. I guess you get a lot of spam emails submitted by SEO companies. To stop this spam, you need a Forminator Blacklist tool.
Here we introduce a Forminator Blacklist tool to block spam submissions when someone types SEO in a message box.
First, you need install the plugin of BSK Forms Blacklist.
Step 1, make sure the Forminator plugin is supported
Navigate to Dashboard --> BSK Blacklist --> Settings
On the settings page of BSK Forms Blacklist, please make sure Forminator is checked.
Step 2, create a blacklist
Navigate to Dashboard --> BSK Blacklist --> Blacklist and click the "Add New" button.
Set the blacklist name to "Spam words" and save it.
Step 3, add spam words
Here, add seo as a spam word.
Step 4, enable BSK Forms Blacklist for the Forminator form
Navigate to Dashboard --> Forminator --> Blacklist , and you'll see all Forminator forms listed there. Click the button for the form to which you want to apply the blacklist.
Enable the form on the Form Settings tab.
Step 4, apply the list to Forminator form field
On the same page above, click the Field Settings tab and all form fields will be listed. Select the created list into the message field.
Step 4, test your Forminator
Now SEO is considered spam and submissions are blocked. Forminator blacklist works!
